Process and Production Final Poster Development

These are some of my initial development from the thumbnails towards the final piece. I was really trying to get the composition of the characters and the pose of Shadow right at this point.

This is my final outline for the poster I'm really happy with how it's looking at the moment. The characters in the poster are the ones that guide shadow through the story the most, there's his dead wife Laura on the left I made sure to have her and shadow looking at each other in the poster as a lot of the story is about those two, on the left is Zorya Polunochnaya who gives shadow the coin that guides him through the afterlife and finally at the bottom is Media who is the main antagonist of the story. I think this poster works a lot better than the last one as it has more relevance to the story and also captures the grander atmosphere that I was going for hopefully when I've started the finished one the darker atmosphere of the book will come through.

compared to the last poster I think this one is going to work much better at A1, I think the last one would have worked better at a2 where as this one feels much bigger and grander in concept.
