These are my thumb nails for the frame task I decided to use an Elephant running down a street chasing me, I really wanted to create a piece with a sense of humour. I think having the figure facing away from the viewer with a speech bubble coming out worked really well I just wish I'd played with the scale a little bit more before jumping into the final piece.
The final pieces at the bottom are the developed versions from the thumbnails, I think technically the one on the left is much stronger than the right though this was the first one I did and I had more time to spend on it the line quality is much better and the proportions are better, though when I finished it I just wasn't happy with the composition I'd drawn the elephant far too small and you didn't really get the sense of movement you do in the piece on the right. If I were to do this piece again i'd probably make the figure slightly smaller as well to really contrast the elephant and the figure. I think I made the right call with the longer size of the piece as the elephant not fitting on te page really gives it a sense of scale and movement.
